      • Observed cheese and ground beef being thawed at room temperature. - Facility staff transferred the cheese and ground beef into the cooler for thawing at the time of inspection. - Discussed safe methods of thawing: in the cooler, in a sink under cold running water, microwaving, and as part of the cooking process.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The hand sink was not equipped with a hand soap. Dish soap was being used to wash hands. -Advised facility staff to provide a hand soap immediately. - Facility staff sent a photo later in the day confirming the provision of a hand soap.
