      • Diaper pad was in disrepair with areas taped Replace the diaper change pad to be in good condition, easy to clean and disinfect.

      • 1. Toddler room (Ruby Room):Paper towel at diapering area was not in dispenser. 2. Staff washroom: paper towel was not in dispenser. Ensure paper towel is readily available and in proper dispenser to prevent cross contamination.Outstanding.

      • Infant room (Amber room): Re - usable cloth was being used for wiping after disinfection. Discussed with staff and advised to use single use towel (paper towel) for disinfection after each diaper change.Toddler room (Ruby room):Observed diapering procedure after lunch. Staff changed gloves between children diaper changes but did wash hands. Spoke with staff immediately and reminded her to wash her hands after each diaper change and to ensure that the children wash their hands after diaper change.

      • Jade room (front room):The baseboard near the window was missing. The window covering was loose at the bottom, not in good repair.Repair the baseboard to be in good repair, easily cleanable.Repair the window covering to be in good repair and easily cleanable.

      • Toy washing procedure was not being followed after discussion with staff.Toy washing sink and area did not have disinfectant or test strips readily available.

      • Some art supplies observed in Sandstone room were not age appropriate or had warning labels. They were removed during the inspection.

      • Some cups/bottles have not been labelled in Jade and Sunstone rooms. Updated on June 10, 2024:Some cups/bottles have not been labelled in Citrine and Sandstone rooms.

      • Fridge temperature was 20C in Ruby room. The fridge was not used for perishable foods at the time of inspection. Please repair, replace or remove.
