      • Test strips used to measure the concentration of QUAT sanitizer solution for sanitizing food contact surfaces, as well as iodine-based sanitizer for the glass washer in the bar, were not available at the time of inspection.Obtain appropriate test strips designed to measure the concentration of QUAT and iodine-based sanitizer solutions used in food premises.

      • An expired food handling permit was posted at the entrance of the facility.Staff removed the expired permit to post a valid food handling permit during the inspection.

      • -The back delivery receiving door had a gap, that could be an entry point for the pest.Action required:-Please repair the door. Ensure that the door is properly sealed (no gaps) when enclosed.

      • The light in the main kitchen did not have the shatterproof covers (*work under progress).

      • -Temperatures of all the coolers, freezer and hot holdings were in compliance with the Food Regulation except the preparation cooler, which was measured at 15C (temperature was measured with infra-red thermometer). Internal temperatures of the food stored in the cooler was measured at 15C. Actions taken:-Operator was instructed to immediately transfer the food to the walk-in cooler. Ice immersion method was also discussed. -Operator shifted all the food to the walk-in cooler.-Please get the cooler repaired and do not use it until it is repaired.-Recommendation provided to regularly monitor the temperature and keep the temperature logs onsite.
