- 19(2)(a) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator:
(a) a supply of potable hot and cold water at adequate pressure and volume with the appropriate facilities to store and distribute the water and to control the water temperature;
- Bacterial water test must be taken and results provided to Public Health Inspector.
- 19(2)(b) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator:
(b) adequately designed and appropriately located hand-washing facilities;
- Handwashing stations must be equipped with paper towel in a dispenser.
- 47(3) An operator must ensure that containers, materials, and procedures used for food packaging and labelling do all of the following:
(a) prevent contamination of the food;
(b) provide an environment that adequately controls contamination;
(c) protect the food from damage likely to make the food inedible.
- Ensure food is stored in food grade containers that are able to withstand regular cleaning and sanitizing.
- 82(1) No person shall operate a food establishment, unless exempted by an administrator, without first having obtained a permit from an administrator.
- Food Establishment Permit has expired. Renew permit with the department as soon as possible.
