      • The edging/edge banding along the hand wash sink in the lemons room is peeling off and tape is being used to hold it together.Please ensure the edging/edge banding is replaced or properly secured back onto the side of the counter.

      • The cubbies/lockers in the lemons room is not anchored/mounted to the wall.Please ensure the cubbies/lockers are properly anchored/mounted to the wall to prevent any tipping hazards.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • There was an uncovered electrical outlet in the Charming Cherries classroom. The inspector informed the staff/operator that all electrical outlets must be covered. The outlet was covered afterwards.

      • There was a broken wooden cabinet in the Charming Cherries classroom with sharp screws protruding and may be accessible to clients. The inspector informed the staff/operator that any broken equipment must be removed from the classroom immediately upon detection.

      • The window blinds strings in the Loving Lemons classroom were not secured. The inspector informed the staff/operator that all strings must be properly fixed. Please fix the window blinds strings.

      • Push pins were noted on the walls and being used in all the classrooms. The inspector informed the operator that push pins cannot be used in the rooms where clients stay as these shard objects are prone to falling and being accessible to the clients. Please remove all push pins.

      • Cardboard boxes were being used as building toys and building play castles. Cardboard boxes are not easily cleanable and impervious to moisture. The inspector informed the operator that toys and other surfaces in the facility must remain easily cleanable. Otherwise, the cardboard boxes should not be used or be discarded after being used. If building play castles is a beneficial activity for the clients, please use easily cleanable and impervious to moisture materials. Otherwise, the cardboard materials should be single-use.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Some paint and glue bottles did not have an AP (Approved Product) symbol. The inspector informed the staff/operator that all paint and glue products must have the AP symbol to ensure that these products were tested for non-toxicity to children. The products were discarded during the inspection.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Several water bottles of the clients were not labelled. The inspector informed the staff/operator that all belongings of the clients must be properly labelled. The water bottles were labelled afterwards.

      • Bleach solution in before and after school care and infant rooms were not up to 1000 ppm in concentration during an outbreak.-Please maintain bleach concentration of 1000 ppm during outbreak by daily monitoring with suitable test strips.

      • Long tangling wire was observed in Charming Cherries classroom.-Please tape down or keep any long tangling wire out of reach of children.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1. Layer of dirt was observed under the diapering mat in Amazing Apricots classroom.-Please ensure the diapering mat and the surrounding area are cleaned and sanitized after every diapering process.2. There was no posted diapering standard procedure at any diapering station for reference.-Please download AHS diapering procedure and paste at every diapering station in the daycare.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The caulking between the wall and sink area in the Charming Cherries classroom was ineffective and worn off in some places.-Please apply new silicon sealant to the indicated area to prevent water infiltration.
