      • A section of shelving in the back storage area is lined with a section of visibly soiled cardboard. This material is not suitable for long term storage due to its inability to clean. Remove uncleanable material and/or replace with cleanable non-absorbent surface, or otherwise ensure that material is maintained in a visibly clean state.

      • Cleaning is needed in the following areas:-The shelving directly above the donut glazing area-The area directly adjacent to associated food storage inside the walk-in coolerClean indicated areas.

      • Cooked chicken strips were measured at a temperature of 50C. Labelling indicated that chicken had been prepared less than one hour prior to measurement. Chicken was moved into an alternate hot holding unit and re-measured at 60C during inspection.

      • 1. A cambro of cold brew was stored on the bottom shelf next to the back door. The spigot was turned outwards and prone to contamination from staff walking by. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. Please find an alternate place to store the cambro.

      • There is evidence of flies around the food premises. Please ensure there is effective pest control management in place to prevent contamination of food and food contact surfaces.Oct 3, 2023 update: The number of flies have reduced but not completely eliminated. Please find a more effective solution as the issue will arise again in the next summer season.

      • There is evidence of flies around the food premises. Please ensure there is effective pest control management in place to prevent contamination of food and food contact surfaces.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The small cooler located by the front counter is not in good repair. There is an accumulation of ice on the interior and the dairy products located on the top shelf is frozen.

      • A cleaning schedule was not available upon request. Please ensure a cleaning schedule is available and completed on a daily basis.There was a large accumulation of empty boxes stored in the back of the store and blocking the pathway. Please have the area clutter free so it is easy to clean.Accumulation of food debris under the prep tables and coolers. Please ensure the food prep area is kept clean.
