      • 9/24. There was a fly trap stored near a food preparation area. Ensure all fly traps are installed away from food preparation areas to prevent contamination. The fly trap was moved at the time of the inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • 9/24. There was a small gap visible underneath the back door. Repair weatherstripping to prevent entry of pests.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • 9/24. There was a large amount of ice build-up on the ceiling around and on trays underneath the condenser fan of the walk-in freezer. Ensure all food is stored away from these areas to prevent contamination. Please have the unit serviced to ensure it is properly operating.

      • 3/25. The gauge for the high temperature dishwasher was not working. There was a work order in progress to have the gauge replaced. All dishwashing is completed manually in the interim.

      • The light fixture cover above the dishwashing pit was cracked and in disrepair. The cover was removed at the time of the inspection as the lightbulbs are LED and shatterproof.
