      • Sanitizer concentration was measured at 300 ppm QUATS, which exceeds the required level. Sanitizer must be maintained at 200 ppm, particularly for food contact surfaces such as the ice cappuccino machine, as residual sanitizer may come into direct contact with beverages.

      • Dishwasher is not operational and requires repair. While out of service, the unit must be kept clean and free of debris. At the time of inspection, visible debris buildup was observed on the basket inside the dishwasher drum.

      • 1. Public washrooms were not maintained in a clean condition at the time of inspection, which was conducted well after the lunch rush. Washrooms must be cleaned and garbage emptied following each rush period to ensure sanitary conditions are maintained. During inspection, the men’s washroom was visibly soiled; urine was observed around the toilet base seal.2. The floor in the back food preparation area was visibly dirty at the time of inspection. Ensure thorough cleaning of all floor surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas, so that they are not missed during routine cleaning.

      • The sanitizer concentration was too high at time of inspection. It was found at 400 ppm quats; please ensure the sanitizer concentration is 200 ppm quats at all times to prevent accidental chemical intoxication.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Milk cooler in the front area was found at 50F. Please repair and discard all dairy products inside as they have been above 50F for an unknown period of time.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The pop cooler is broken; please repair as all food equipment in a permitted food establishment must be in good repair.
