      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) The sanitizer solution (Lactic acid &DDBSA) used for manual dishwashing was measured at a concentration above the recommended level. Sanitizer concentrations that are too high may leave chemical residues on dishes and utensils. This can pose a potential chemical exposure risk to consumers.
      • Corrective Action: The operator was advised to dilute the sanitizer solution with water to achieve the appropriate concentration. The Operator was also informed to adjust the solution as needed to ensure it maintains the recommended range for safe and effective use.

    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Scoop used for powdered sugar was nearly completely immersed in sugar bucket. This presents potential for cross-contamination when food handlers touch the scoop.
      • Corrective Action: Remove the scoop from the bucket or ensure that the scoop handle is not touching the food in order to prevent direct contact with the sugar.
