- Observation: Lot of ants have been observed at the back side of food premises (common area) due to pile up of garbage and food debris in the area. This has potential contamination risk to food if the problem gets out of hand and not controlled in time.
- Corrective Action(s): Discard and dispose of the garbage properly. Do thorough cleaning of the area. Ensure to add the cleaning of back common area in your daily cleaning schedule. Contact to the pest control for consultation on control of ants. Date to be corrected by: April 20 2026

- - behind the dry storage racks
- Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean and sanitize the above noted areas. Make sure to have the areas in your regular cleaning schedule to maintain premises in good and sanitary condition as these unsanitary conditions may potentially lead to food contamination risks. - Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One of the handsinks in kitchen area is plugged. Manager has work order in for repair.
- Corrective Action(s): Make sure this sink is addressed ASAP.

- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): House flies and fruit flies noted landing on and mopving from product to porduct in the donut/pastry display case. Multilple flies observed on food. Pictures taken.
- Corrective Action(s): Food products discarded as requested and included chocolate and glazed, various patries etc. Staff inventoried products.
- As a temporary measure foods to be removed from display case as this seems to be a point of convergence for both fruit flies and house flies.
- Barrier to exclude any pests from contact with food may be necessary if problem continues. Please contact me to discuss.
- Staff must discard any food that comes in direct contact with flies as discussed.
- Follow up in one month to assess progress in this area.

- Observation: Fruit flies and house flies noted in premises.
- A) House flies noted throughout flying around, but also in lower dead end spaces.
- B) Fruit flies noted below dish sink, in donut/pastry display, under and around barbage cubbies, and above glazing station.
- Discussion with manager identified deliveries may be contributing to incoming house fly numbers. Deliveries coming in through front doors and door could be open for upward of an hour. Deliveries are 2x per week.
- Observed floor drain directly behind dishwasher, and dishes being dried on dishwasher (larger containers) causing drippage onto floor behind dishwasher. Excessive stagnant water and food debris noted, with an abundance of flies in this area noted.
- Corrective Action(s): A) Turn on and leave on directional fan at drive thru.
- Redirect deliveries to intended back delivery door as designed. Make sure the directional fan is turned on during deliveries.
- Seek advice from Pest Control regarding the installation of light trap(s) in premises to reduce any accidental fly activity in premises.
- *As temporary measure place fly sticky traps/tape in non-food prep storage areas as discussed to lower the overall fly population (i.e. under counter in garbage cubby spaces as discussed; Under dish sink at dishwasher; at exit door to garbage bins etc. as discussed.
- **Cap floor drain directly behind dishwasher as it is impossible to properly maintain.
- B) Clean under dishwash station as discussed. Reomve any stagnant water and nutrient/sugar enriched environments that may attract the flies as discussed. Add daily cleaning program to floor drains to control fruit fly harbourage and breeding as discussed.
