- Observed that the supplied Taylor high temperature test strip papers for the mechanical dishwasher is expired (on January 2026) and subsequently requires replacement with new valid test strip papers - see picture taken during the inspection for more details.

- Observed a significant rust accumulation on the shelving units in the Russell Foods upright 2 door refrigeration unit (which was empty of contents at the time of inspection).Based on the above observation, would either replace the shelving units or attempt to remove the rust accumulation.Finally, also observed that the last professional cleaning of the canopy hood was in May 2025 by Hydroblast and next scheduled cleaning in May 2026 - this is in compliance.

- 1) Observed NEW LED fixture in the kitchen facility; however, does not appear to have the tubes over the tubes - please install.2) Light fixture beside the new LED light fixture is not working - repair/replace as necessary to provide adequate lighting in this area.

- Existing Russell Foods/Champion mechanical dishwasher uses hot water for the final sanitizing step.Our Department would then ask the Town of Tofield to provide an accurate thermometer to monitor proper temperatures for the hot water sanitizing. The temperature at the dish level should be at least 72 - 77 C while it should be 82 C at the manifold.There is also a wall mounted detergent dispenser and a container of rinising agent on the kitchen floor for the mechanical dishwasher.

- Ensure a wall mounted liquid soap dispenser is installed beside the paper towel dispenser near the dishwashing sink area for patrons/users of the kitchen to properly wash and dry their hands during food handling.
