      • Unapproved pickled products in jars were noted being sold- products were removed during the inspection- ensure all products for sale must come from an approved source
    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • An approved sanitizer was not available- bleach sanitizer was prepared during the inspection- ensure facility is equipped with a sanitizing solution and that solution concentration is confirmed using test strips @100ppm

      • Test strips are not available for bleach/chlorine sanitizing solution- ensure to obtain test strips to ensure proper sanitizing solution concentration
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • A cooler containing meat products is currently unable to maintain a temperature of 4C or below- operator is aware and a sign is posted to ensure products are not for sale- operator indicated the supplier of the meat products and cooler are going to refund products due to equipment issues and products will be disposed of- cooler was turned around during inspection to ensure customers do not have access
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • REPEAT:One of the drink coolers is not operating properly and cannot maintain a temperature of 4C or below- the operator is aware and is in process of getting cooler repaired- drinks that require refrigeration (dairy) were moved to a working cooler and only soda beverages are being stored in the cooler- ensure cooler is repaired and able to maintain a temperature of 4C or below

      • An approved sanitizer was not available- ensure a sanitizer is prepared and regularly tested with testing strips to verify concentration. - 100ppm for chlorine- 200ppm for quats
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • pest control records were not being maintained- ensure pest control is conducted monthly and records are maintained
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • One of the drink coolers is not operating properly and cannot maintain a temperature of 4C or below- the operator was already aware and drinks that require refrigeration were moved to a working cooler- ensure cooler is repaired and able to maintain a temperature of 4C or below

      • A cleaning schedule was not available- ensure a cleaning schedule is established.
