- No - at the front prep and customer sales/service area, there was some accumulation of dirt/dust and bits of litter around the grease interceptor and adjacent cupboard area under the hand-wash sink. The operator is to ensure more regular cleaning in these areas as per cleaning schedule frequency, and as often as necessary (to ensure a sanitary condition).

- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- No - there was observation of rodent (mouse) droppings (20+) in the closed cupboard storage areas under the hand-wash sink and adjacent above-ground grease interceptor at front sales and prep area. The operator is to spray (moisten) the droppings with chlorine or QUATs sanitizer, remove with paper towels and wet mop/pan, and then wash the contaminated stainless steel shelf and floor area (including removal of the accumulated bits of litter).Note: monthly pest control service is conducted by a licensed pest control company contracted by the building management for all food premises and common areas in the building. The building management is to be notified of this recent rodent activity, which most likely coincided with the recent cold winter days.
