   • 11. Are parent provided foods being properly handled and stored to ensure the safety of clients in this social care facility?
     • Although no products were stored within the unit at the time of the inspection, the mini fridge in the pre-school room was noted to be measuring above 4C (~7C at the time of the inspection). Please ensure the unit is adjusted and monitored daily (i.e. maintain temperature logs - template provided).The unit in the infant room was measuring at satisfactory temperatures at the time of the inspection (~0.5C at the time of the inspection). It was confirmed that parent-provided foods are refrigerated and re-heated onsite if needed. Please ensure a food handling permit application is submitted to obtain a permit highlighting this limited food handling.Domestic dishwasher is available, although there was no indication of it being NSF/ANSI-184 certified (to confirm required sanitation performance). If used for anything pertaining to the children, please ensure staff follow-up by sanitizing in the sink using 100ppm chlorine/bleach.
