      • There was no sanitizer readily available during the inspection. A QUATs bucket was prepared and measured 400 ppm. A food surface sanitizer must be available during operations.

      • Discussed donair handling practices. A container of pre-cooked meat was observed on the counter; the operator stated it had been out for approximately 30 minutes and was instructed to return it to the cooler. High-risk foods, such as cooked meat, must not be left at room temperature. The temperature danger zone and associated food safety risks were reviewed.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The tag on the fire suppression system was dated May 2023, with servicing needed after six months as per tag. Please ensure the system is serviced as soon as possible and email confirmation of servicing to the inspector.

      • The area near the back door had many boxes, bins, etc cluttering. Discussed tidying up and putting items off the ground to ensure staff can properly clean/observe the area for pests. The can opener felt greasy to touch.The ice scoop was sitting underneath the ice machine. Discussed storing ice scoop in a container. Both items were put in the dishwashing sink to be cleaned. Underneath shelving units require cleaning. Debris were found underneath shelving units.
