      • There is no splash guard on the left side of the hand wash sink on the cookline in the kitchen. The hand wash sink is directly beside the stove.Either provide at least 18 inches of separation or install a splash guard on the left side of the hand wash sink on the cookline in the kitchen.

      • Some baseboards are coming away from the wall, resulting in gaps were grease, food and/or soil has accumulated.Clean these areas and either reattach or replace baseboards.

      • Plastic containers without a handle were stored inside the dry ingredients' container. Replace the plastic container with a scoop that has a handle and store scoops in a separate area or with the handle upright to avoid contamination of the food.The operator removed the plastic container from the bulk supply at the time of the inspection.

      • Two spray bottles containing sanitizing solution were unlabeled. Ensure that all containers of chemicals are clearly labeled to identify contents.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Quat and chlorine test strips were unavailable upon request. Purchase test strips. Ensure that test strips are available for each type of sanitizer used onsite.

      • The staff washroom opens directly into a food handling area. The washroom door is not equipped with a self-closing mechanism. Install a self-closing mechanism on the washroom door.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The ice cream scoop was stored in an insert of dirty stagnent water. Staff directed to clean and sanitize the scoop. Store the scoop in such away that prevents the contamination of food (i.e. in a dipper well; clean and sanitizer after each use; store handle up in the ice cream container.
