- Ensure the equipment cleaning sink is continuously supplied with potable hot and cold running water under pressure. Portable/mobile sinks are not permitted.
- Ensure the sink is capable of immersing the largest piece of reusable equipment.
- Ensure there is adequate counter space to prepare the reusable equipment for use and re-use.
- Ensure the sink is sufficiently separated from where personal services are provided to prevent contamination.

- Low-level disinfectant: Mix 2 ml (½ tsp) of 5.25% bleach with 1 L (4 cups) of cold water. Ensure the disinfectant remains wet on the equipment for 10 minutes. Prepare a new bleach and water solution daily.
