- Bowl of water beads was observed in toddler 2 classrooms.-Please remove the water beads from this classroom as water beads are recommended for use for children above 5 years old.*Provided guidelines for use of water beads in childcare setting in the closing comment.

Torn diapering mats were observed in both the Toddler 2 classroom and the preschool washroom.-Please replace the identified mats and ensure all diapering surfaces/mats are smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to clean.2. Extraneous materials were observed being stored on diapering surfaces in the Toddler 1 and Toddler 2 classrooms.-Please remove all materials from diapering or changing surfaces to facilitate proper cleaning and sanitizing of these areas.

- 1. Three handwashing sinks in the preschool washroom were not in proper working condition.-Please repair the identified sinks and ensure they are fully operational.2. There were no hand soap bottles or dispensers in the preschool washroom at the time of inspection.-Please provide or install hand soap dispensers in the indicated area and ensure soap is available as required.

- First aid kits in some classrooms are low on antiseptic wipes, while others are missing tweezers, scissors, and emergency blankets.-Please ensure all identified items are provided in every classroom’s first aid kit and that they are regularly stocked.

Sensory bottles have multiple layers of adhesive tape, making them difficult to clean and sanitize properly.-Please remove the tape and secure/seal the bottles using an appropriate material, such as non-toxic glue.2. Worn surfaces observed on leather-covered play structures in baby's classroom.-Please repair or replace the identified play structures to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces.This infraction was corrected during the inspection.

- 1) Used food cans in reach of children were used to store colouring pencils and other supplies.-Do not use open food tins to store objects for children as they are difficult to clean due to the grooves and have sharp edges from opening-Staff removed tins from reach of children2) Bleach bottles in multiple rooms were not labeled.-Ensure all chemical bottles are labeled-Operator made and delivered labels for bottles during inspection

- In the pre-school bathroom, two bleach spray bottles were on the counter within reach of children.-Keep chemicals out of reach of children-Staff moved bleach to higher shelves in classrooms. Operator is recommended to add shelving in bathroom for storage of bleach or keep it under the sink

- Toddler 2 - mouse droppings and debris were observed beneath the stairs to the diapering table.-Ensure that staff are thoroughly inspecting the facility for mouse droppings and other cleanliness issues-Ensure that staff thoroughly are regularly cleaning the facility-Area was cleaned during inspection

- Staff room floor had lots of debris. There were also stacks of bins and baskets in the corner near the staff cubbies that rendered the area difficult to thoroughly clean.-Ensure the facility is maintained in a sanitary manner and organized in a way that facilitates regular cleaning
