    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Fruit flies were observed in the front coffee/smoothie area as well as by the mop sink. Please work to abate the fruit fly problem and keep these areas clean.

    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Quat test strips were unavailable at the time of the inspection. Please obtain quat test strips to be able to test and verify the concentration of the Quat-based surface sanitizer.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Fruit flies were observed in the front coffee/smoothie area as well as by the mop sink. Please work to abate the fruit fly problem and keep these areas clean.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • A ceiling tile above the two-compartment sink was broken. Please replace the ceiling tile such that the ceiling is smooth and cleanable.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • A metal wire sieve was broken and had loose metal wires. The sieve was discarded at the time of the inspection. Please ensure all equipment and utensils are in good condition and free from loose parts.
