      • The kitchen hand sink located by the office did not have splashguard protection and it was situated adjacent to a food preparation table.Install a washable splashguard with a minimum height of 12 inches.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • The kitchen had handwashing sinks, a food preparation sink, a pre-rinse sink, a dishwasher and a single compartment sink.Replace the single compartment sink with a two compartment sink in the dishwashing area. Ensure that sink basins can accommodate the largest equipment or utensil.

      • Sanitizer test strips were not available for monitoring the concentration of quat sanitizer.Provide test strips.

      • There was a gap on the bottom between the front double doors. Seal the gap.

      • The staff washroom opened into the kitchen and the door did not have a self-closing mechanism.Install a self-closing mechanism on the staff washroom door.

      • The facility was not constructed according to the plans submitted. The kitchen no longer had a two-compartment sink.
