      • 1. The drinking water fountain near the bathroom remained open during the inspection.The operator stated they will close the fountain as soon as possible.Note from March 15, 2026 inspection: A sign was posted on the fountain which stated: "Boil water advisory, do not drink the water until further notice." Recommended covering the mouthpiece on the fountain. The manager said she would cap it off and tape it.2. Water from the portable hand wash stations in the bakery and produce areas was being used to fill water jugs for spraying vegetables. -Do not use water from the portable hand wash stations to fill spray jugs as the spout may be contaminated. Switch to using bottled water to fill sprayers instead.-The manager agreed to switch to using bottled water in the sprayers.

      • Emergency eye wash station sink leaking in deli area.Puddles present below triple sink in deli area.Ensure all plumbing fixtures are maintained in good repair.

      • Sections of floor in produce prep and walk-in cooler were dirty.Sections of floor dirty in deli area. Ceiling and upper walls dirty in back of deli area.Clean noted areas.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • A refrigeration unit, being the open coolers in the produce department, was measured at 7-9°C. Overstocking of food that covers the air vents was noted during the inspection. The food items were rearranged to uncover the air vents. The inspector informed the staff/operator that all high-risk food items must be stored at or below 4°C. Please ensure to monitor all refrigeration units to be at or below 4°C.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Bakery: No thermometer or thermo test strips were available to test the pot washer.**OUTSTANDING (2023-08-14). No thermometer was provided during the inspection.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The drainage of the front equipment (oven) of the bakery department was not properly plumbed in. There was water accumulation around the drainage area. Please ensure to properly plumb in the drainage hoses so that it directly connects to the drainage area.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The facility required cleaning in some areas as they appeared dirty and dusty during the inspection. The inspector informed the operator that the facility must be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. The following areas must be cleaned:- Bakery Section: Underneath equipment and shelving units.- Meat Section: Underneath shelving units of the walk-in coolers.**PLEASE CLEAN THE AFOREMENTIONED AREAS.
