      • - A wooden log was being used as a step stool near the handwashing sink in the Sprouts washroom.*Staff removed the log from the washroom during the inspection.

The water temperature of the handwash sink located in the kitchen was tested and measured at 15C confirming no hot water was being supplied to the taps.Please repair the plumbing issue to ensure that both hot and cold water are continuously supplied to the taps, with a maximum hot water temperature of 54C and a recommended temperature of 49C.

      • Staff were using bleach at 100 ppm instead of 1000 ppm during outbreak.-Provided instruction on how to make a 1000 ppm solution (4 tsp bleach in 1L water)-Staff changed all bottles during inspection

      • 1) During the outbreak, most rooms had accessible toys and storage containers that were made of porous or difficult to clean materials:-Wicker-style baskets-Foam blocks-Styrofoam fruits-Cloth pillows-Natural play materials-Cardboard boxes2) Many foam blocks had teeth marks-Ensure that staff are monitoring the use of foam blocks, and also inspecting them on a regular basis and removing damaged toys3) Acorns room - most of the styrofoam fruits were heavily damaged with teeth marks-Ensure staff are removing damaged toys

      • 1. The maximum water temperature at the hand sinks on the main floor was measured to be 54.9C. Was found to be the hottest at the washrooms across from the reception area.- Ensure water temp does not exceed 54C, recommended 43-49C.
