      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Staff who was at the raw meat station and observed handling raw meat was also seen taking the fry basket up out of the oil (a surface also seen to be touched by staff who were preparing the orders).
      • 2) Staff who was assembling a burger was observed using the patty flipper with a red handle to move a patty onto the burger. The flipper with the red handle was previously seen being used by the staff member who was at the raw meat station. Flipper with a white handle was also present and in use.
      • Corrective Action(s): Importance of awareness of cross contamination reviewed with staff. Ensure that staff with dedicated duties (ie raw meat or ready to eat) only touch the surfaces that are assigned to their job role at the time to prevent cross contamination.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) No running water available at the handsink across the 3 compartment sink.
      • 2) No hot water available at the handsink beside the ice machine.
      • Manager indicated the mop sink was leaking in the morning and the plumber came on-site 30 minutes before the inspection and turned off the water. Plumber was on-site working on repairs during the inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Operator temporarily closed the premises. Plumbing was repaired during the inspection and hot/cold running water is in working order at the handsinks.

      • Observation: 1) Drive through milk/cream dispenser cooler awaiting on repairs. Staff manually adding cream in the meantime.

      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Repair drive through milk/cream dispenser cooler. Do not use the unit until the inspector has verified it can operates at 4C or below.

      • (2) Repair dishwasher. In the meantime, manually sanitize all dishware, utensils, and equipment in the 3 compartment sink using the QUATS sanitizer solution.
