      • Observation: 1) Damaged baseboards (back door and office area). *All wall-to-floor junctions must be smooth, durable, and cleanable to prevent pest harborage and accumulation of debris. 2) Damaged light cover in the walk in cooler. *Light fixtures must be properly shielded to prevent risk of physical contamination from broken glass.
      • Corrective Action: 1) Replace or repair the damaged/missing baseboards by the back door and in the office area. 2) Install or repair the light cover in the walk in cooler.
    • 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: Inadequate hot water pressure at the front handwashing sink. *The sink must be fully functional and capable of providing enough hot water pressure at all times to support proper hand hygiene.
      • Corrective Action: The operator must repair and restore adequate hot water pressure at the front handwashing sink.

      • Observation: The health permit was not posted in a conspicuous location. Operator agreed to locate or replace the missing document.
      • Corrective Action: Locate/Replace the health permit and post it in a conspicuous location where it is visible to the public in order to meet Food Premises regulatory requirements.
    • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: Observed multiple open grease buckets and greasy equipment left near the back door of the facility. The facility back door had a 1/4-inch gap underneath that can facilitate the entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests within the facility.
      • Corrective Action: Remove the grease buckets. Clean/remove the grease covered equipment stored by the back door. Cover/seal the back door 1/4-inch gap.
    • 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Inadequate facilities provided for hand washing. The hand-washing station near the front customer take-in was not stocked with paper towels.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure all hand wash stations are equipped with hot/cold running water, soap, and paper towel to facilitate proper hand-washing.
