      • X Observed a mouse dropping and debris buildup behind the dishwashing machine in Pod B servery.- Clean and disinfect the area and monitor any new activity.- There is a mouse trap noted near this area in another part of the servery.(Pest control documents received)

Please provide the most recent pest control report to the undersigned for review.

      • X The trays used to hold single service salad dressing in both the A and B pod refrigerators is dirty.- Ensure these containers are cleaned and sanitized before refilling rather than topping them off.X The undersides of the water/ice dispensers in both A and B pod above the nozzles around the ice chute are dirty. Please clean and sanitize.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Fridge in Pod 2 (Pod B) verified at 5 C. Fridge adjusted by staff. Staff indicated temperature would be checked again at supper time to confirm temperature of 4.0 C has been achieved. Install thermometer in fridge in hospice family room.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Observed two plates of food items (covered with plastic wrap) on counter in Pod 1/A. Ensure food items are not stored at room temperature. Any leftover food items should be stored in fridge (and adequately reheated). Food discarded by staff during inspection.
