- Toys for the kitchen play area were observed to be stored in the freezer. The operator indicated that these items were hard to disinfect and the freezer was used to kill bacteria. All toys are required to be cleaned and disinfected using an approved disinfectant. Please clean the toys in soap and water, rinse, and submerge in a bleach solution of 100 ppm for 2 minutes and air dry. If toys cannot be adequately cleaned and disinfected, please discard.
