- Community Hall: hot water in the bathrooms sinks measured at 63C. Maximum hot water temperature permitted is 49C.Reinspection: hot water measured at 61C. Program informed maintenance worker again on October 22 to come for another adjustment. Staff are supporting handwashing with children until the temperature is adjusted to below 49C.

- Bottle warming is occurring next to diapering areas. Bottle warming must occur in areas away from diapering.

- Room 2: Isopropyl wipes in the first aid kit in the backpack expired in November 2024. Other first aid kits throughout all rooms were not checked. Please ensure all first aid kits are inspected regularly (such as monthly) and restocked as needed.

- Toys are being cleaned with soap and water but are not being sanitized. All toys, equipment, and surfaces must be cleaned and sanitized.

- Room 2: handwashing sink has no cold water, hot water pressure decreases the longer the tap is on. A work order has already been submitted.

- Mouse droppings observed in the community hall, specifically in the kitchen used for toy washing (inside cabinets) and in the mechanical room. Pest control records are not being maintained.A licensed pest control company should be contracted when there is evidence of pest activity. Please email pest control records once received.Entry points/gaps in the facility should be sealed including weatherstripping required under entry doors in the community hall so that there is no gap of light shining through.

- Staff are reusing the same cloths (labeled with their names) when drying hands after handwashing. Hands must be dried with single use paper towels or single use cloths that are used once and put away for laundering in a used cloth bin.

- Facility was previously cooking (using a toaster oven) and slicing fruit over the years without a food handling permit. Program Director agreed to discontinue handling any type of food. Only emergency/back up pre-packaged low risk snacks are allowed otherwise facility needs to apply for a Food Handling Permit.
