- In the convivence store area chemicals were noted to be placed above food items. Please ensure that all chemicals are placed below food items, this will help to protect the food from potential leaks and contamination.

- Test strips were noted to be expired as of 2024. Please ensure that new test strips are obtained.

- Pest control monitoring was not observed. A monthly pest control checklist will be sent to the operator. Please ensure that it is printed out, filled out and stored in an area that is accessible.

- The facility was maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, however some refrigeration units require some cleaning. Please also ensure that written records for cleaning (eg. daily/weekly cleaning checklists) are established. Template provided.

- 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
- Chlorine-based sanitizer was available at the time of the inspection; However, the concentration was >200ppm. This concentration is too strong and can leave a residue behind.*** Please ensure that chlorine-based sanitizer is at 100ppm. This concentration can be made by mixing 2.5ml household unscented bleach into 1L water. ***

- Scoops were observed to be stored in the bulk dry goods containers (i.e. flour, sugar, etc.). Storing scoops in this manner allows the handles to come in contact with the bulk good and potentially cause contamination.*** Please ensure scoops are stored in a manner that prevents the handle from contacting the bulk good causing contamination. ***

- A valid food safety training certificate could not be produced at the time of the inspection.*** Please ensure that 1 person per shift for each 6 staff has a valid food safety certificate. ***
