      • Facility lacked Quaternary Ammonium Compound sanitizer test strips for food contact surfaces. Ensure appropriate Quaternary Ammonium Compound sanitizer test strips are obtained & used. **Update (November 19, 2024): Facility has ordered new test strips and they will be arriving on Monday November 25, 2024.

      • Quaternary Ammonium Compound test strips on the wall by the handwashing sink in the back kitchen were noted to have expired (Exp: 2018). Ensure that the test strips for the chosen sanitizer are obtained and available for staff use to verify the concentration every time a new sanitizer solution is made for sanitizing food contact surfaces or when food handling is occurring.
