      • Used single-use nail files were found stored in the tool bin.Discarded. Ensure that only new, unused single-use items are stored in the tool bin to prevent cross contamination.

      • The was no low-level disinfectant for non-critical tools/equipment/ surfaces. Obtain a low-level disinfectant with a drug identification number (DIN)
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • The reprocessing sink was dirty with visible brown buildup and residue.Thoroughly clean and sanitize the reprocessing sink before and after each use. The sink must be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times to prevent contamination of tools and equipment.
