      • The kitchen counter has insufficient space for food handling. Food was noted being pre-portioning near around the hand washing sink. A surface sanitizer bottle was stored in close proximity to the food on the counter. Sanitizer bottle was removed and stored away from the food.Adequate counter space is required for food handling in designated kitchen area.
    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • Sanitizer spray bottles were stored on the counter with water bottles and other food items and were accessible to the kids.Store sanitizer bottles and other chemicals in the locked cabinet under the sink or in the cabinet above the sink to prevent children access.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • -All kitchen areas have a single sink which is used for hand washing (after diapering in two rooms) and dishwashing (rinse before loading in the dishwasher),-No separate dishwashing sink available in any room.-Dishes are rinsed in handwashing sink/diapering in individual rooms and brought to the dishwasher to be loaded. Unwashed dishes were noted in the hand washing sink (diapering) during inspection.Designate the sink beside the dishwasher for dishwashing only. Make arrangements to bring all dirty dishes to the designated dishwashing sink to be rinsed and loaded in the dishwasher. A sink used for handwashing after diapering is not acceptable for dishwashing.
