      • At time of inspection:1. All chemicals noted appeared to be properly secured from child access - SATISFACTORY.2. Five (5) pairs of small scissors were found in a cabinet - of which all five pairs had pointed ends.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. DO NOT use scissors with pointed ends. Always use scissors with rounded ends. Child care facilities are not permitted to have any items / equipment with sharp or pointed ends.*****ALL FIVE PAIRS OF SCISSORS WERE REMOVED FROM THIS FACILITY. THEREFORE, THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.

      • At time of inspection:1. Chemicals were found in cabinets (in both childcare rooms) but were not noted to being kept secured. A security device was installed on the handles of both cabinets but both were not secured. 2. Some electrical plug outlets (within both rooms) were not properly protected.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to immediately conduct the following, namely:1. Ensure all chemical cabinets are kept secured at all times.2. Ensure all electrical plug outlets (when not being used) are kept covered / protected.******BOTH ISSUES NOTED WERE ADDRESSED DURING INSPECTION.
