- F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
- Observation(s): Test strips are needed to monitor sanitizer concentrations. Some chlorine test strips were provided to operator. Thermometers are in place.
- F2.3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
- Observation(s): Operator was using vinegar in place of an approved sanitizer.
- F2.6 Are the premises designed and equipped to ensure safe food handling?
- Observation(s): Store is not set up properly for food preparation / service operation. If food is to be prepared and served onsite, facility will require upgrades (e.g. proper wash sinks), food safety & sanitation plans, staff food safety training, and will require and operating permit. Soft ice cream machine is not currently in use.
