    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The floating weirs were missing in the skimmer pots. Ensure that floating weirs are installed to maintain skimming action.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • An updated anti-entrapment compliance plan has not been provided for the main drain replacement conducted with the basin refinishing. Forward a completed copy to the undersigned for review.

      • An updated anti-entrapment compliance plan has not been provided for the main drain replaced in May 2023. Forward a completed copy to the undersigned for review. Please note any changes to the main drain during the proposed restoration project will also require an updated anti-entrapment compliance plan.
    • 18. Have plans for construction, renovations or alteration for the pool been submitted for written approval?
      • Pool operator notified PHI during inspection that restoration work would be occurring near the end of the season (August 2024). Based on the information provided refinishing and concrete work would be occurring as well as replacing and adding a second main drain. No submissions including plumbing plans and main drain specifications have been provided for review. Ensure documentation is forwarded to the undersigned before beginning construction.
