Vernon needs more places like this lakeside pub! Unbeatable views, prime location, and a super welcoming vibe. The service is always friendly and fast, with a solid menu of drinks and dishes to choose from. It’s a favourite for both locals and tourists — and it’s easy to see why. Located right next to the yacht club, it has that relaxed, vacation-like feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. The patio is definitely their biggest highlight — the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, and soak in the Okanagan. Highly recommend visiting, especially on a sunny day!

What an incredible spot on Okanogan Lake! The food was absolutely delicious and the views were amazing. The fish tacos were crispy, fresh, and perfectly balanced with slaw and sauce. The club sandwich was stacked high with juicy grilled chicken, fresh lettuce, and tomato on toasted bread, hearty and satisfying. The kettle chips were delicious crunchy, and paired so well with the dipping sauce. On top of all that, the lakeside setting is gorgeous, boats in the marina, colorful flowers, and sweeping views of the water and hills. It’s the perfect combination of great food and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this spot if you’re anywhere near Okanogan Lake!

Overall, I had a really good experience at this place. What really stood out to me was the view it’s got an awesome view of the lake and the scenery beyond it, which made the whole vibe even better. The food was satisfying, and I was happy with the quality. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. They’ve got both indoor seating and a patio, which is nice depending on the weather. Parking was easy too. All in all, a positive experience, and I’d definitely recommend

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A must visit spot on Okanagan Lake! We had an amazing experience last night at 1516 Pub right on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The patio is absolutely unbeatable— such a vibrant atmosphere with stunning views of the water. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the sunshine, and soak up the lively energy. The food and drinks were fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. But what truly made our night was the incredible service. Our waitress, Carly, was outstanding! Her friendly, fun personality made us feel right at home, and her warm smile added a personal touch that's hard to find. She was attentive, efficient, and just a joy to chat with. There's something special about this place —from the beautiful setting to the amazing staff. I love supporting local businesses like 1516, and this one is a gem. Can't wait to come back!

This was my 189th eatery on my quest to eat at every eatery within Vernon city limits. This was my first time here since it was known as the Blue Heron. Yes, it has been that long. We came here during happy hour at 2pm. Nachos were $18 instead of $24, and deep fried pickles were $9 instead of $14. So definitely one of the biggest happy hour discounts offered in town. That's a saving of over $10 right there. I paid approximately $34 after tax and tip for deep fried pickles, water, and a big plate of nachos. Our server was great. We ate inside because outside has a lot of bugs since it's right on the lake. Keep that in mind if you plan to eat outside. 189 eateries down, and only a few left before the quest in Vernon is over.

Great location and view from the patio. Great service. Unfortunately, the food is just frozen packaged slop that is reheated and resold for way too much money. Not good.

Food was OK, I have had better versions of my sandwich. Service was great. Waitress knew the menu and answered questions. Can't beat the atmosphere and the lake views.

One of the only lakeside eateries in Vernon. Great view, ok service, amazing fish tacos, but the Thai Curry Bowl was lacking in flavour. It was bland and there wasn’t salt & pepper on the table. I was disappointed, because it did look delicious.
