- 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
- The main drain installed is expired and requires replacing. Pool operator confirmed that site maintenance person has procured a replacement to be installed while the whirlpool is drained. Due to changes in the certification for the new drain cover it is not rated for the total flow of both the circulation and jet pump. The jet pump must remain off until further assessment by a pool professional can be done to determine options for compliance. Once the new cover is installed please forward a photo and notify the undersigned.
- 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
- Anti-entrapment compliance plan must be updated to reflect the operational decision made by the facility to continue compliance with the anti-entrapment requirements. Please note the date of installation for the suction outlet as it will expire 5 years from that date.
