      • No toilet paper was observed in the men's washroom for the duration of the inspection. Toilet paper must be provided in all washroom facilities.
    • 10. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool (Non-Critical)?
      • There was no paper towels for the hand sinks in either the men's or women's washrooms for the duration of the inspection. Please ensure all hand sinks are provided with paper towel at all times for handwashing purposes.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • The emergency phone is not operational, no dial tone heard when checking emergency phone. The emergency phone must be maintained in proper working order at all times.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • The pool operator did not have written procedures for dealing with a fecal contamination event, for responding to a positive bacteriological sample or for daily chemical adjustments. Please ensure these written procedures are available at the facility for the next inspection.

    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Eyeball return fittings in the basin were pointing directly to the floor and not adjusted to optimize water circulation. Adjust the eyeball fittings to ensure proper water movement. Operator stated that the pool service company would correct this but they need the pool heat to be restored. Now that this is corrected a service call has been submitted.

      • Eyeball return fittings in the basin were pointing directly to the floor and not adjusted to optimize water circulation. Adjust the eyeball fittings to ensure proper water movement.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • An anti-entrapment compliance plan must be updated as part of the main drain replacement. Forward and updated plan confirm complaint installation.

      • Microbiological water sample collected July 22 2021 was unsatisfactory (HPC: 1100 CFU/mL).
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Eyeball return fittings have been removed for the refinishing of the basin. Ensure they are replaced and adjusted to provide proper water movement in the basin.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • Main drains are expired and one of them was damaged. Ensure new main drains are installed according to manufactures specifications and standards.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • An anti-entrapment compliance plan must be updated as part of the main drain replacement.
