- LIGHTING LEVELS IN THE WALK-IN COOLER:In our opinion, the lighting level in above is inadequate and is required to facilitate easier cleaning.As a starting point, change the existing light bulb with a large wattage LED bulb.Once completed, you should take a photograph of the completed task and email back to our Department for our final review/approval.UPDATE ON NOVEMBER 13, 2024:Verified LED bulb has been installed for the ceiling light fixture; however, level of lighting is still inadequate and another LED fixture is required to be installed.As discussed, our Department has granted an extension to complete this task to January 31, 2025. If completed earlier, please email a photograph of the completed work to our Department for our review and approval.

- LIGHTING LEVELS IN THE DRY STORAGE AREA AND WALK-IN COOLER:LED light fixtures have been installed on the ceiling in the dry storage area for more adequate lighting and the lone ceiling incandescent light bulb fixture in the walk-in cooler provides adequate lighting.Acknowledge that the operator had previously installed an LED fixture but quickly burnt out for no reason.WALL FINISH AND INSIDE DOOR TRIM FOR STAFF WASHROOM:As discussed, would encourage the installation of wall tiling where paint is currently peeling and the repainting of the door trim with the peeled paint in the staff washroom to ensure a smooth and easily cleanable finish.The existing finishes as is do not facilitate easy cleaning and allows moisture to absorb through the bare wood.

- Observed no paper towels for hand drying in the staff washroom during the assessment.Ensure wall mounted paper towel dispenser in the staff washroom is equipped with an adequate supply of paper towels.
