      • Observed expired 2024 Food Handling Permit on display - ensure the 2024 - 2025 Food Handling Permit is printed + posted and discard expired food permit.OBSERVATIONS ON DECEMBER 16, 2025:Same as previous - food permit is display inside the front door entrance area is expired.As discussed with owner, our Department will reach out to the CZ Food Permit Administrator to email the 2025 - 2026 food handling permit. Once received, please print + discard expired food handling permit.

    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Lamber commercial high temperature dishwasher (purchased from Cost Co) in place in the kitchen facility.2) Large pots and pans are sanitized manually and utilize QUAT for the final sanitizing step. However, the QUAT test strip papers supplied in the kitchen have expired on January 1, 2025 and must be discarded and replaced with new ones.

    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Observed several areas of the kitchen flooring where the concrete paint has worn off - required to be repainted with a concrete paint that is light in color and is slip resistant (the latter to prevent trips and falls for staff).Moreover, observed that the existing staff washroom opens directly into the food area of the kitchen facility. As discussed, would close off this washroom and have staff utilize the other washroom facilities in the building which houses the kitchen facility.
