If it was possible to rate no stars, I would. My husband and I walked over from our hotel at about 6.45pm to purchase some drinks etc. The cashier had such an attitude and was extremely rude to us, for what reason I don't know. Some of the products were expired and so we were checking them, his response: "you touch everything but don't buy". We told him that some of the products were expired and we were checking the expiration dates. He was immediately defensive asking us to identify which ones. When we asked for another grocery bag because the original bag ripped before we left the store, he chided us for having to much in the bag - although he had packed it and was not happy that we asked for another one. Just a very weird experience and a very rude little man. Often travel through Kamloops for and will not be using this facility again. Terrible and rude.

Do not come here for a car wash. The third bay ate two of my Toonies and would not turn on (they refunded them) and then the guy in front of me started having trouble with his bay and had to go inside. Huge waste of time. Better to go somewhere else.

My partner and I stopped to get gas about a half hour before the posted closing time. I tried the door of the gas station shop as I wanted to use the bathroom. The employee went to an intercom button(he'd already locked the door though all of the lights were on) and told me that "the bathroom was closed". I can promise we won't be stopping at this location again given the staff can't be bothered to allow customers to use the facilities during posted business hours.

Pump was quite confusing but perhaps that's normal. Service was fine Washroom stunk of urine and wasn't very clean so id pass on that.

I tried purchasing a pack of gum and only had a $20 bill and the guy at the cash said I couldn't pay with cash unless I had change. I said I didn't have any smaller change, just the $20 bill. He then said he couldn't do that because the gum was only $2. I then said yes, and this is $20 so there shouldn't be a problem. He still said no and turned me away. I know some companies can refuse cash if they accept to be a 'no cash' only card business, but they accept cash.. I was paying with legal tender.. in a place that accepts legal tender. I wasn't paying with coins. I wasn't paying with a top large of a bill like a 50 or 100. I then had to go down the street to the next gas station where there was NO hesitation to pay with a $20 for a $2.50 purchase. I will not go back to shell.. sad because I used to alot. Hope it was worth the change to lose the rest of my future business due to the fact I carry legal canadian currency.

Paid $6 to use the vacuums. They don’t suck a thing up my car looks worse then before I started and it’s brand new ! Not a lot to suck up !!! Time for maintenance !

The pump was acting up and the manager personally came out to to assess the issue and ended up pumping my gas for me. The pump was acting finicky and you could only squeeze it so hard for the pump to work. He was kind and didn’t make me feel embarrassed. He was also sociable and a pleasure to speak to. Don't use interact has option to get cash back then u decline to get cash and it reject ur card

Can be quite busy at times, but it's your standard Shell gas station. There is also a three bay covered car wash (you spray and brush) with an uncovered wash on the west side of the building. Air pump for tires available behind the store portion, $1 to operate.

Got ID'd buying a lighter. I looked at the attendant in shock and said are you serious and she said yes. Regardless of my age it isn't illegal to purchase a lighter.

Make sure who ever works in the morning 7:30 AM shift is actually willingly working if not don’t spoil others mood. Guy had lack of sleep I guess.

The car wash bays are huge and water pressure in the power washers are great. Washed and waxed for $4. Great value

No face masks on either of the employees that were inside. Partition is up, but if you are requiring your patrons to wear masks, I believe you must wear them as well. Extremely disappointing to see during a pandemic.

My pregnant sister was trying to get gas- online says they close at midnight, we arrived at 10:57. Attendant was inside the building, didn’t even have the decency to say they were closed. Just looked and watched while my sister was attempting to gas up.

Gas is always at a median price here and the 2$ car wash is phenomenal. I believe it's the cheapest jet wash in the city.
