      • Under the authority of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.H.7, sec. 19(1) to (4), which states: A Public Health Inspector who is of the opinion, upon reasonable and probable grounds, that a condition of any substance, thing, plant, animal other than man is a health hazard, may seize or cause the seizure of the substance, thing, plant or animal. Where equipment is seized under this section and the Public Health Inspector is of the opinion, upon reasonable and probable grounds, that the condition of the equipment is a health hazard, he or she may destroy or dispose of the equipment or cause it to be destroyed or disposed of without further examination or investigation.
