    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • -Cubbies were not secured to the wall. Please ensure cubbies are secured to the wall.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • The following potential hazards were corrected at the time of inspection:-Disinfectant wipes were being stored on a low shelf in the Pre-K/Flex Room; accessible to children. The wipes were moved out of reach at the time of inspection.-Baby Powder was being used for a craft in the Kindergarten Room. It was removed at the time of inspection. Please ensure baby powder is not used in the childcare facility.-There was a purse with a long strap at the play clothes station in the Kindergarten Room. The purse was removed at the time of inspection.-Glitter glue without a “non-toxic” label was being used in the Kindergarten Room. It was removed at the time of inspection. Please ensure that all products used by children for arts and crafts (ex. glue, paint, glitter, bingo dabbers) have a non-toxic label.-Toilet paper rolls were being used for crafts in the Jr. Pre-school Room. Staff were asked not to use the rolls as there is a high chance of contamination.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • -Cleaning and disinfecting of diapering surfaces is not being performed properly in this social care facility. The underside of the diaper mat in the Toddler Room was visibly unclean. Staff were asked to clean the area at the time of inspection.

    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • -The surface under indoor elevated play equipment in the safe fall zone is unsatisfactory. There was a slide in the Red Room that was directly on the floor. Please install on top of appropriate surfacing.

      • -Blind cords for windows in the Blue Room were not secured. Please secure.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • -There was a storage unit in the Blue Room that was greater than 4 feet high and not secured to the wall. Please secure.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -Toys were observed in the handwashing sink in the Yellow Room. Toys were removed at the time of inspection. Ensure that unclean toys are kept in a “mouthed toy bin” and the handwashing sink for diapering is kept clear at all times.

      • -The following potential hazards were noted:*There was a ZZ plant on the floor of one of the classrooms. This plant is considered toxic. Please remove and ensure only non-toxic plants are used in the facility.*Some blind cords were not secure. Please ensure that blind cords are secured out of the reach of children*There was a cracked electrical outlet plate cover in the Pre-Kinder Room. Please replace. *Baby Powder was observed in one of the diapering areas. Please remove as this product can cause lung irritation in children.
