- 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
- Previously cited violation still present at the time of the inspection. The inside push style handle of the walk-in freezer door is broken and sharp along the damaged edge.Please ensure that any damaged equipment or parts are replaced to ensure the noted equipment is in good repair and operating as intended.The walk-in freezer's internal handle mechanism was also frozen at the time of the inspection and made it impossible to open the door from the inside if it was latched. The external customer doors can be used to exit the freezer should the internal door be inoperable. Ensure that the door mechanism has no internal ice buildup, and that the door can easily open from the inside if fully closed. The door/mechanism must be repaired/serviced to prevent the above conditions from persisting.
