      • Some of the written procedures were incomplete at time of the inspection. Please make required corrections and complete written procedures.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • 1. Dermaplaning handle had a buildup of debris/rust. Please discard and obtain a new dermaplaning handle. 2. Instrument used for blackhead removal and skin scraping cannot be properly cleaned and disinfected, as the tool is electric and cannot be taken apart. Please remove this instrument from facility and obtain a different tool that can be cleaned with soap and water and disinfected following each use.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Test strips for testing high level disinfectant expired in 2022. Please purchase new test strips.
