They also carry a great variety of other products: prepared foods, fresh vegetables, pickles, sauces, and more. A great spot that’s definitely worth visiting.

Fantastic selection of the best fresh cuts of meat. Friendly staff, free samples(!) and reasonably priced, although not cheap. Good range of fresh vegetables as well.

Great place. Asked the butcher to do custom size ribeye and got it done and packages in a few minutes. We live in Fernie and dont mind the drive at all because that's where we get great meat.

Huge selection, good prices, staff is super friendly. Solid small town vibes. Will keep coming back!

Great selection of unique products and local meats. Pretty pricey, but good quality. Service was not friendly all three times I’ve been in. Felt like the staff was irritated when we asked questions about products and couldn’t wait for us to leave the store.

Wow is all I can say. I try and stop in whenever I am down, this is by far the best butcher shop around with a huge selection. I can't help but smile when I open the door!

We buy all our meats at Back Country. Clearly they are proud on their products!! Prices are good and they have sales too. The dinner sausage is really excellent!! Pepperoni is really good and they offer many flavours too!!

Amanda is an all star hostess, with a stellar stock of fresh and frozen meats and treats. The place is bright and spotless and everyone is treated like family. Highly recommend the fresh cut beef roasts - incredible top grade cuts! also the ground bison, side bacon, ribs, jerky and Saskatoon pie!

5 stars. They have so much variety in their freezers at prices that are better than your grocery story AND it’s all sealed in airtight packages, they’ve done the work for you. Amanda gives great service and they are just very fair. I no longer shop at my supermarket for meat at all!

Very cean, everything is ultrafresh! Marinated steaks, regular steaks, chops, smokies, etc. are top quality. I also regularly buy dog bones, doggie rolls & dog patties here for my 2 large dogs - excellent value for your money. Friendly, helpful staff, what more could you ask for?!!
