- Observation(s): • No sanitizer test strips available on site. Corrective Action: • Ensure chlorine test strips are available to ensure adequate concentration of sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon bleach per 1 L of water). Oxivir is not approved for food contact surfaces, only hard surface disinfecting. Purell is alcohol based and also not ideal for food contact surfaces. (Note: No food handling is done. Operations are low-risk; however, bleach is the preferred surface sanitizer at the tasting bar.)
