      • The Filtration Rate was 17.62gpm/sq.ft (55gpm/3.12 sq.ft).Please ensure that the rate of filtration for a high-rate sand filter is no more than 8.5 litres per second per square meter (12.5 gallons per minute per square foot) for whirlpools.If the pool is constructed before November 30, 2006 the rate of filtration for a high rate sand filter must comply with manufactures specifications and maintain water quality in accordance with Section 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 of the Pool Standards. AR 204/2014 s 12; Pool Standards, July 2014 (Amended January 2018) s 3.3.2.

      • During the inspection, the free available chlorine was measured at 0.58, and the total chlorine was measured at 1.60, indicating that disinfectant levels were below the required operating range. The pool operator immediately corrected the issue by adjusting the automated disinfection system to increase chlorine output and by manually adding chlorine. Following these corrective actions, the water was retested. The test unit displayed an “OR” (Out of Range) message, indicating that chlorine levels had risen above the measurable limit of the device. The operator will continue to monitor chlorine levels to ensure they return to and remain within the acceptable operating range.

      • Grime buildup was observed inside the skimmer during the inspection. Please ensure that all skimmers are cleaned and maintained regularly.
