- F1.2B Potentially hazardous foods must be stored or displayed at a temperature of 4 °C (40 °F) or colder.
- F1.7 Are foods protected from contamination?
- Observation(s): 1) Scoops and food containers are being stored in the ice bin meant for consumption. These were removed at time of inspection, but an alternative process must be in place to ensure the ice meant for consumption is not being used to store food containers. Ice scoops must be stored in a separate container, where the handle may not touch the ice.
- F1.7C Ready-to-eat foods must be handled/displayed in a manner that prevents cross contamination.
- F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
- Observation(s): 1) Un-expired chlorine test strips must be obtained to monitor chlorine concentration of 100-200 ppm for food contact surface sanitation. If an alternative food-safe sanitizer is used, appropriate test strips must be obtained as well. 2) An accurate thermometer must be obtained to monitor dishwasher plate surface temperature, to ensure it reaches a minimum of 160F.

Chlorine solution of 200 ppm was made at the time of inspection. This is an acceptable sanitizer solution going forward. Other alternatives includes quaternary ammonium product made to 200-400 ppm. 2) Mechanical dishwasher reached a plate surface temperature of 155F at time of inspection. Plate surface temperature must reach 160F for adequate sanitizing action. Dishwasher was repaired at time of inspection, but the plate surface temperature must be routinely monitored.

This was recommended to us from our West Kelowna BnB (shout out Colina Norte Vacation Suite). We had the smash burger special - 1 with fries, 1 with their strawberry & goat cheese salad. Great salad with the addition of almond slices. Fries were salted nicely. The burger had the right amount of cheese and was a good size with two patties.

As a non burger lover, this restaurant had a good amount of options. They are also flexible for vegetarians and vegans which is great. Their happy hour is great with a good variety of drinks and food. The restaurant was clean, good music, and lots of windows and lighting. Our server was also very friendly. Recommend checking Bin 4 out!

Kenzie was our server and she was very kind and attentive! She was also quick with our order also and checked on us within a timely manner. The hummus and sweet potato fries were very good, we always love the dip selection as well, however my brother-in-law had the heritage burger and he did say it could have used a little more burger sauce. Otherwise great service and food overall

The food was amazing! Love a good burger. Half off after 9:00 is always a good deal. Maddy was a very nice server who was very accommodating to our group showing up a little late. Excellent job 10/10 service. Thank you Maddy and bin 4

Best onion rings since old school A and W. (like I’m talking when they put the tray on your window). They were amazing. Very good burger too. Ratio excellent when you do the bump up to 1/2 lb. That 1/2 lb burger with onion rings when shared between a couple was the right amount for us. And no frowny faces from server re sharesies. In fact they suggested they could cut the burger in half and bring an extra plate without me asking.

I visited Bin 4 Burger Lounge in Kelowna on Tuesday and had a great experience. I ordered the Bin 19 Burger — The Big Dipper — along with the garlic fries and garlic aioli on the side. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. The burger was excellent, and the garlic fries with the aioli were a great addition. The service was also great — friendly, quick, and professional. The restaurant was quiet when I visited, and the lounge atmosphere was really top notch. Overall, it was a great meal and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

We had a retirement lunch last Thursday. The young lady serving us was the only person on duty and was amazing. She not only took care of us but quite a few tables in the restaurant. Wish I got her name. The food was great, it always is. The onion rings the best.

I had an amazing experience at Bin 4 Burger Lounge. The burgers are absolutely top-notch—juicy, flavorful, and easily some of the best in Kelowna. What really stood out to me is that they offer halal options, which is a huge plus and not …
