      • Maintain free available chlorine or total bromine in every part of the hot water pool between 5 ppm and 10 ppm;
      • Maintain free available chlorine (FAC) between 1 ppm and 10 ppm in outdoor pool.
      • Maintain total alkalinity between 60 ppm and 180 ppm.
      • Maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
      • Maintain cyanuric acid not greater than 60 ppm in outdoor pool.
    • Black disc and/or black marking is clearly visible
      • Ensure continuous black marking can be observed at a distance of 35 m from the control station for modified pool
    • Shower signs posted at each shower and every entrance to the deck used by bathers

      • Maintain free available chlorine (FAC) between 1 ppm and 10 ppm in outdoor pool.
      • Maintain total alkalinity between 60 ppm and 180 ppm.
      • Maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
      • Maintain cyanuric acid not greater than 60 ppm in outdoor pool.
    • Make up water requirements met
      • Provide a meter that registers the volume of make-up water.
      • Ensure minimum of 15 litres of make up water per bather per day is added to the pool.
    • Daily records completed and signed
      • Ensure parameters specified in Section 7 (11) are checked and recorded at least every 2 hours where the pool or spa does not have an automated sensing device.
