      • No paper towels were available at the handwashing sink in Room 7.-Please ensure that paper towels are supplied at the handwashing sink at all times to support proper hand hygiene practices.

      • Peeling paint observed on the diapering table in the first toddler room.-Please repaint the changing table to ensure effective cleaning and sanitizing.

      • 1. A damaged cabinet door was observed in Room 6.-Please repair the cabinet and ensure it is maintained in good condition.2. Peeling paint was noted on the window ledge in Room 6.-Please repaint the affected area to restore it to a good state of repair.3. Worn caulking was observed around the handwashing sink in the first toddler room.-Please clean the area thoroughly and apply fresh sealant to prevent water infiltration and potential mould growth.4. Dirty carpets were observed in most of the facility’s classrooms.-Please clean the carpets and ensure they are maintained in a sanitary condition going forward.

      • Long tangling wires were observed in preschool 1 classroom.-Please keep long wires out of children reach to prevent the risk of entanglement.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kits missing tweezers and blankets.-Please provide the indicated items in the classrooms' first aid kits.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Diapering table in the Toddler 3 room had attached absorbent material, which may make it difficult to clean and sanitize properly.-Please repair or replace the surface to ensure it is smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to clean.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Hot water temperature was measured between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius at most handwashing sinks.-Please increase and maintain hot water temperature between 38 and 43°C to ensure proper handwashing procedure.2. No sealant observed around handwashing sinks.-Please apply silicone sealant around all handwashing sinks to prevent water infiltration and subsequent growth of mould.

      • Children’s bedding/linens were stored in a way that allowed them to touch each other in Preschool 2 classroom.-Please store them properly to ensure the beddings do not come into contact with each other.

      • Small toys found in toy bins in the 2 year old room that pose a choking hazard. These toys were removed during inspection.

      • Large doll house is top heavy and not secure. This may tip over on a child or cause injury. Ensure the doll house is secured to the wall. This was corrected during inspection.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • No sanitizer bottle in the 2 year old room. Ensure sanitizer is accessible to staff for sanitizing surfaces and diaper change areas. Sanitizer provided to this room during inspection.
